First Contact has such an awesome premise! I loved the idea
of someone being hired as a paranormal real estate agent. I really enjoyed
Sloane’s character and her drive to be reunited with her dead fiancé Michael.
What I loved most about First Contact was the relationship
between Sloane and Michael. I could feel Sloane’s heartbreak and I thought the “year
and a day” reunion was a sweet setup. Things turn scary for Sloane while reaching
Michael from beyond the grave and that was when the story picked up.
First Contact was a short and fast-paced read. The book is a
good setup for sequels, but also offered a satisfying conclusion.
