Blog Tour Stop and Review: Heavenly Hell by Aria Williams

Heavenly Hell
Release Date: 04/24/13

Summary from Goodreads:
You'd think being stuck in the body of a beautiful seventeen year old girl forever would be a gift. But when you are fallen, it is more like a curse.

Indiana was a beautiful angel, enjoying the perks of Heaven, until she was tricked by a demon to fall in love with him. She was forced to fall from Heaven and remain in her seventeen year old form, banished to Earth, for all of eternity.

Now, unable to cope with her banishment, she is a seemingly normal seventeen year old girl by day, while she spends her nights punishing men for the wrongs they have committed against women.

Although Indiana has lived on Earth for thousands of years, she recently settled into a small town, where she has finally been able to make some lasting friendships. When a handsome, mysterious boy comes to town, Indiana knows something is not right. He might end up her ally, or she might end up in the fight of her life.

About the Author
I am an author with Limitless Publishing who loves to write YA and paranormal romance.

My Review:

Heavenly Hell was one fun ride! I loved the main character and found it very enjoyable to read about such a strong female lead. Indy kicked butt! I liked the premise and I thought the author told a very unique YA paranormal story.

Indy is a fallen angel stuck inside the body of a 17-year-old girl. The story starts out with a bang as we read about Indy exacting revenge against a teacher who took advantage of a student. During the day, she’s a regular student with some great friends, but at night, she’s a vigilante hunting men who have committed wrongs against women.

Indy was fabulous, a refreshing character after I’ve read so many books lately with submissive and weak women. I liked her tough side, but I also loved how the author created plenty of depth to the character by showing how Indy cared deeply for her friends.

When Nate comes to town, a demon hunter out to get Indy, the story really got interesting. I loved hearing both of their sides of the story and seeing how they fought their attraction to one another. Indy’s friend Connor added more tension since he is also in the running for her affections.

A great read and a good series starter (there is a cliffhanger). If you enjoy YA books about angels and demons, I would highly recommend Heavenly Hell.
