Vote for the Cover of Second Sight Book Three and Win an Amazon Gift Card

VOTING HAS CLOSED. COVER AND WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED TUESDAY 1/29

Happy Monday all! Today I need your help because I'm torn between two covers for the third book in the Second Sight series. I have entitled the latest novel Dark Premonitions and I have two covers I'm trying to choose from. I have the two mock-ups that I'm looking at and I would love help making the final decision. These covers aren't final, but you can see the basic gist of them. Please vote and leave a comment to enter a drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card. Voting ends Friday 1/25/13.

COVER B

  1. Wasn't sure my comment posted because I did it from my phone, so I wanted to put it here... B. I think it portrayed dark better and I like the couple (holding hands in the woods at night... I'm intrigued).

  4. I actually like the first one although both are great. The dark clouds go great with the title!

  5. I like the 2nd because of the lighting and the couple in the background.

  6. Both covers are gorgeous but... I voted for Cover A! That one just drew me in more, and for me, I like where the protagonist is only shown, so yeah :) Thanks for this wonderful opportunity!

  9. B! A is not bad either, but I think it looks too sepia toned.

  10. Strangely, because A seemed to describe your book better, I voted for - B. I loved the lighting of B.

  11. I like cover B. It looks more professional.

  12. I voted for A because I liked the contrast of earth and sky. I think the ominous look of the sky makes a statement.

  13. I voted for cover A. In keeping with the theme of your previous books of a single female on the cover of the books. If there were a single female on cover B, I would've chosen that one for the dark coloring that matches the title and the easier to read text. I can't make out your name on cover A. :) Hope this helps!! WRITE ON!

  14. Love the light in the second one. I'm drawn right to the couple. I like them both but the girl in the first one seems awkward to me. I'm a photographer so I guess I just would prefer her less in the middle and posed differently. Thanks for the chance to win! saltsnmore at yahoo dot com

  16. I like the clouds and field in cover A but the umbrella looks a little odd. As though it was poorly photoshopped in. Just my opinion. I really like the lighting in cover B. so I vote B

  17. A all the way! Much more compelling to me.
But wow this is split right down the middle.
Not sure we're really helping all that much.
    :(

    Good luck!

  18. I like both, but I'm going with B. I think A would look better (and would definitely get my vote) without the umbrella on it. I'm not sure why, but it just throws the cover off for me.

  19. What a hard choice! I like them both, but since I have to choose, I choose B. I love the light coming through the top corner and the couple in the backround.

  20. I liked both the covers but was a little lenient towards the first one. I love the girl in the field and felt that is more "original".
Thanks for making us a part of your decision process. Feeling special! :)

  21. I voted for Cover A because it sort of suits the title.. an impending sense of doom, that sort...

  23. I voted for B because it was the first thing that caught my eye!The umbrella in A looks out of place..

  24. A is best choice, remindered me her gift is like the weather. Her gift is unpredictable and changing. Book 2 ended with her having a future vision. Her gift is like the weather, one word can't describe it. Like a storm. Is it rain storm, snow storm, ice storm, etc. Is her vision going to be about the past or the future now that she has the ability. Is it going to be about some one dying or about to die. A is my pick. Her gifts are like the weather, one word can't sum it up.

  25. I think A is the right choice because it goes well with the title and its also matches well with the covers of the previous books of this serie.

  26. I was torn, but in the end I'm drawn to B. I just finished book 1 tonight and am completely in love with the series and Kate & Jared. Winning the gift card would rock, then I could purchase book 2! ;-)

  28. I vote A. While I like them both I based my choice on which one would draw my attention if browsing a site like Amazon or Barnes and Noble. I can't wait to read it! I LOVE this series!

  31. Definitely A is my choice. I agree with Lauren. Eerie and foreboding is a good description of the feeling given from the dark clouds.
