Guest Review: Leap of Faith by Jamie Blair

Today, I'd like to welcome my special guest reviewer Jessica! Jessica is an avid reader who also enjoys music and travel. She has a pre-law degree and like me is married to a police officer. She was also game to help me tackle my TBR pile, so hooray for Jessica =)

Jessica's Review:

The idea behind the story was a good one, Faith taking off with her newborn half-sister in order to save her a lifetime of misery and being surrounded by drugs and who knows what else, but that was the only thing good about the book. There wasn't any real character development to allow the reader to get an attachment to the characters and the descriptions of the characters were vague at best. The story felt rushed, introducing other characters and then just breezing through their stories, and then the book just suddenly ended. Also, by the end of the book, I was so disgusted with Faith and her solution to her problems that there is no way I would pay for the next book to see what happens.
