I'm participating in two of my favorite Friday book hops today. Make sure to stop by my New Revelations Book Tour Giveaway for a chance to win a brand new Kindle. Ends 11/24.

  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Q: Books are turned into movies all the time! Turn it around. What movie would make a great book?

So many of my favorite movies were books first, so that's a toughie. I think Christopher Nolan movies are usually great picks for books so maybe Memento and Inception (at least I don't think they were based on novels).
Book Blogger Hop

From the Crazy for Books blog:

"The Book Blogger Hop is much more than just a “follow for a follow”. It’s about making friends. There are literally thousands of book bloggers around the world. It can seem like we are blogging in a bubble, constantly checking the same blogs over and over again. The Hop is about taking the time to make a quality visit to another blog, getting to know the person who is writing that blog, and seeing if you really *want* to follow that person!"

Every week is a chance to visit a new blog or more, find connections, and learn about new books to read! The Friday Book Blogger hop was gone for a while, but it's back and better than ever. I missed it and I'm happy to participate as we rotate hosts! I'll be hosting this week and next!

Mix’n'Match: The bookish gods are giving you free hand, you can pick any one character (book, TV series/movie, play etc) and inject them into a different novel of your choice. Which character and series would you mix’n'match?

Wow, that's a really tough one. I would maybe put Eric from the Sookie Stackhouse novels in the Twilight universe. See how he would interact with the "vegetarian" vampires. Or maybe put Stephanie Plum from the Janet Evanovich novels in a supernatural mystery like the Sookie Stackhouse novels. I think Stephanie and Lulu would be hilarious while dealing with the paranormal.

  2. Inception, great pick! Totally agree.

And omg, yes, Eric! I think he'd possibly eat the Cullens. Maybe the Volturi too, or at least become head honcho in their midst xD I'm a total Eric fan, you can tell right? Haha.

New follower. Have a great weekend!

  3. I had a hard time with this question on F&F too. Every movie I kept thinking of I was like "well crap, that was a book too". I did love Inception!!

  5. Not sure about those either. It's possible though. And then there are the movie adaptation books that come after or sometimes before the movie itself. They can be fun to read because they have some differences in them!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  9. You're so right: ANYTHING by Christopher Nolan would make such a compelling & addictive read. I had The Dark Knight Trilogy in my FFF this week, but I still can't believe I didn't think to add Inception! Great answer, thanks for sharing :)
